Pipe alignment was critical and laid to minimum grades using laser levelling equipment. 960m of HDPE non-pressure stormwater pipelines joined with fusion and butt welding to divert excess stormwater around the Wetlands.
Works included installation of valves and access chambers as well as 350m of pressure pipeline, butt welded to deliver treated sewerage effluent into the Wetlands for final treatment before being release into the Obi Creek.
