Our role in the Maleny Community Centre major redevelopment involved the partial closure of Maleny’s main street, to enable underground water & drainage to be re-located as well as new kerb and bitumen laid. Preliminary works included the careful removal of existing pavers, mosaics & water fountain and the profiling of the footpath to new levels.
A new 100mm DICL watermain was constructed as well as a 300mm grated drain, 225mm & 150mm stormwater pipelines. Roadworks included the removal of existing bitumen & kerb under future garden areas. New kerbing, agi drains, roadbase & bitumen were then installed in readiness for the landscaping.
